The ACM will be collaborating with the Inter-American
Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) in the
staging of a workshop aimed at improving the quality
of reporting food and agriculture issues.

The workshop will be in the first week of October in
Nassau and we hope to find journalists in at least 14
Caribbean countries who have a background in covering
such issues and are keen on improving their knowledge
and skills in this area.

For this reason, we are asking interested persons to
submit a four-paragraph summary of the aims of the
Jagdeo Initiative to: acmmail@gmail.com by August 15,
2006. DO NOT SUBMIT TO THIS LISTSERV.

house you currently supply stories to. Preference will
be given to print journalists, but broadcast
journalists may also apply.
