The Knight Center for
Journalism in the Americas,based at the University of Texas at Austin,
in collaboration with the ACM, will be conducting Journalism 2.0 - an
online course on Digital Journalism.
This is the most recent
project of an ongoing collaboration between the Knight Center and the
ACM. We have in the past received very favourable responses from
participants in courses offered.
The course begins on
Monday March 3, 2008 and will run for five weeks to April 4, 2008. It is
open to all English-speaking Caribbean journalists.
Prospective
participants must have a minimum three years experience in the media and
have access to high-speed internet service, a digital camera and digital
audio recorder.
There is also a
registration fee of US$30 payable to the ACM. This payment includes ACM
membership dues and you will be issued a Regional Media Pass at the end
of the course of study, together with a Certificate for successful
completion.

conducted and supervised by Mark Briggs, author of Journalism 2.0 How to

RSS Feeds
Planning for
multi-media stories
Gathering of digital
audio and photos
No more than 25
participants will be accepted for the course.
